I spoke with my coach last evening for 45 minutes, (she always pumps me up, & is so knowledgeable...). We have decided to play a bit with my hydration for the bike portion of the race. I will be doing a longer ride than I typically do this close to the race, followed by a 1 hr run. Trying a lower fructose drink than the Ironman Performance for the 1st hour of the ride, switching to diluted IMP for 2nd hour, and full IMP for the run. Hopefully this will minimize the issues I've been having with the new drink.... We shall see!
